Six-time Best Indoor Venue winner, Vibiana, set the stage for the awards show on May 14th, where the wedding industry was celebrated and winners were announced. This year’s event design was truly heaven on earth, flawlessly coordinated and executed by the creative teams of Nicole Alexandra Designs, Bella Vita Events, Kristeen LaBrot Events and Flawless Weddings & Events who joined forces with Vibiana, and lead planners Salynn Simon of Events with a Kick and Natalie Sofer of Natalie Sofer Weddings and Events, plus a talented team of vendors (see full list below) to produce an ethereal evening. To create the overall vision and branding for the event, our CWD team worked closely with the creative Jasmin Michelle Designs, who artfully turned out the invitations, signage, dance floor design and more for the evening.

Inspired by the phases of the moon, guests proceeded into Vibiana’s Main Hall through the entryway which was adorned with floating floral arches featuring the four principal phases of the moon, designed by Rebelle Fleurs. Running the length of the threshold, oversized quotes about the moon from Isra Al-Thibeh adorned the walls.

As guests entered the Main Hall, a celestial celebration awaited them. Representing both the light and dark sides of the moon, the space, which was designed by Nicole Alexandra Designs, allowed one to choose their journey. One side of the ballroom featured seating, bars and vignettes showcasing the femininity, light and warmth in pink tones while the other side displayed cool tones and moody vibes in mysterious tones of blue.

Vibiana’s altar, which served as the focal point for the awards show, was transformed into a luminous, ethereal display. Two sparkling crescent moons, fabricated by The Bleu Dahlia, flanked the altar and were complimented by giant willow-like trees hung with wisteria, blossoms and holographic fringe. Adding ambience to the visual spectacle, an abundance of candles from Vogue Candles enhanced were placed throughout the stage while a five-foot round balloon located high above the scene projected the characteristics of the moon, with custom graphics designed by Jasmin Michelle Designs.

A sea of color-blocked seating, provided by Found Rentals, added to the overall visual effect of the space, as luxe chairs in black, white and pink sectioned off the vast space within the ballroom. Flanking the room, lounge vignettes from Found Rentals along with indigo (Rebelle Fleurs) and rose-colored (Florunique) floral enhancements, offered guests a place to mix and mingle. Bars located on each side of the room also drew guests in as levitating balloon bouquets paired with holographic fringe, created by Balloonzilla, offered a fun and fresh visual display.

Following the awards show emceed by Krieger, guests exited to the courtyard and were welcomed back into the ballroom later in the evening, to discover a giant custom dance floor (with graphics by Jasmin Michelle Designs) in center of the room and a whimsical chandelier installation, designed by Bleu Dahlia. Guests danced the night away to silent disco beats by Waveform Events, Bouquet Sound and Steve Burdick Events, and traversed throughout the ballroom to indulge in desserts from Frost It Cakery and a chocolate fountain from Chocolate Fountain SoCal while others journeyed over to experience a captivating card reading by Davida Rappaport or glam themselves at Page Beauty's Glitter Bar.
