Wedded wisdom: CEO and creative director Edgar Zamora is all about high glam this year. “We’re forecasting gold and white in very glamourous styles,” he notes. “We’re convinced 2015 was the final year for DIY and shabby vintage. We love elements with a history, but each needs to have a strong design statement.”
Known for: Innovating catering menus by continuously changing up flavors and transforming classic dishes with a focus on high-quality cuisine.
Wedded wisdom: “Stand behind what you believe in, and everyone will follow suit,” advises Carizza Rose, director of marketing and public relations. “Your menu, just like the rest of your wedding, should be a reflection of you.”
Known for: An authentic San Luis Obispo ranch and vineyard, complete with luxurious homes for on-site accommodations and multiple locations for everything from rehearsal dinner to ceremony.
Wedded wisdom: “With catering, we’ve seen an interesting shift towards higher-end wine parings with courses for either the rehearsal dinner or the reception,” notes Greengate’s Corrine Smith. “And of course, both pizza ovens and food trucks are popular, especially for rehearsal dinners.”
