Colorful Farm-Inspired Santa Margarita Ranch Wedding
Tuesday, July 1 2014
When Isabel and Brian were planning their big day, they agreed that family, friends and an enjoyable day were top priorities. As the couple tied the knot in the charming Mission San Luis Obispo De Toloso, they were surrounded by their valued guests, including the priest from the couple’s home in San Francisco. Sunlight flooded the church, setting Isabel aglow as she walked down the aisle in her open back lace gown. Bouquets in mason jars were peppered throughout the ceremony, alluding to the rustic charm of the reception venue.
Following the ceremony, shuttles transported the guests to Santa Margarita Ranch, a detail which ensured family and friends of the couple would not have to worry about a thing on this special day. Upon arriving at the venue, appetizers and Pomegranate Margaritas and Mojitos were enjoyed by the guests as the took in the beautiful rural landscape.
The reception took place inside the Asistencia Barn, which was made even more breathtaking by the warm afternoon sunlight. Crafty details accentuated the elegant yet rustic tone of the wedding, including hand-dyed seating tags and hand-burnt signs created by a friend of the couple. Inside, the enormous 135 foot dining space was lined with large farm tables, designed to create an open floor plan ideal for dancing and mingling. Guests enjoyed a family style menu crafted carefully by the couple and their catering team, followed by a simple, rustic wedding cake adorned with flowers matching those of the bouquets and boutonnieres. As Isabel, Brian and their loved ones danced the night away, it became clear that the couple’s commitment to detail payed off to create a truly enjoyable and memorable day for everyone
