Enchanting Jewel-Toned Ojai Valley Wedding
Wednesday, March 11 2015
Rachel and Brye's wedding day was one that reflected their upbeat personalities and eclectic style. The outdoor ceremony was held at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa where guests were greeted with spa water and a live guitar player. They witnessed the lovely couple exchange vows underneath a custom chuppah that was decorated with hand-dyed scarves and lanterns overlooking Ojai valley.
Immediately following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Hacienda Courtyard where they enjoyed cocktails, hor d'oerves, and the beautiful sunset. The party then moved indoors where Kristin Banta, the couple's event planner, had created a globally-influenced reception bursting with a multitude of colors and textures. The space was filled with a combination of long and square wooden tables which were both draped with mixed textile runners and lined with low, lush floral arrangements. The couple opted for a jewel-toned color scheme and accented with metallics, mirrors, and Algerian-influenced fabrics. The dessert bar was centered around their 3-tiered textured cake which sat atop a brass stand and was illuminated by the warm, amber lighting that filled the space. The night was an enchanting celebration filled with spiritual details and Rachel and Brye's magical love.
