A Irish-Inspired Vintage Affair at Carondelet House
Saturday, February 22 2014
For Erin and Timmy, "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" is much more than a slogan for St. Patrick's Day. The Irish-American couple had their first date at Molly Malone's Irish Pub in LA, bonded over their similar backgrounds, and sheer luck seemed to take care of the rest.
The couple's goal for their wedding was to embrace their Irish heritage without being cheesy or over-the-top. With the help of event planner Kristeen LaBrot, that vision was turned into a reality. Erin wore a classic gown paired with deep-purple heels and pearls for a modern take on vintage fashion. The ceremony and reception were held at the Carondelet House; a quaint, rustic-inspired location in Los Angeles. The dinner tables were labeled with Irish counties, festive flags were hung as decoration, and the overall decor was kept simple and authentic. To tie it all together, they ended the night with a classic Irish drink that combined Jameson, hot coffee, and a drizzle of heavy cream.
The couple's Irish pride made for an elegant, unforgettable affair and set the tone for a lifetime filled with love, luck, and happiness.
