Italian Vineyard-Inspired Reception Decor
Saturday, March 15 2014
From a rustic wine country wedding to a boho-glam affair the one-of-a-kind textiles from Designer Specialty Linens Luxe collection are a great start to building wedding decor. To inspire couples in the planning stages, eight wedding event designers and florists collaborated to create beautiful and unique tabletop decor based on these stunning linens and debuted their visions at Long Beach's newest reception venue, The Loft on Pine.
A Stunning Affair and Peony and Plum were the dynamic duo behind this stunning Italian-inspired tablescape. The team used "Vineyard" from the Luxe Collection as the foundation for their design and accented with napkins from the "Madison" line. Needless to say, the beautiful, embossed linens were a showstopper. They opted for rich pink, fuschia, and plum floral arrangements and accented with crisp whites and gold to create an ambience bursting with love.
"Hanging above our table we displayed a dark-wood swing, filled with florals and a custom carved sign, "Amore"-- our true expression of an Italian-vineyard tablescape" described Lina Wallace of A Stunning Affair. "The flatware had a golden finish to tie in with the other gold elements on the table...the invitation suite featured a custom watercolor design." They tied the display together by using the same watercolor motif on menu cards, place cards, and the bride and groom's chair signs and luminated with warm candles. It was truly a romantic affair, down the very last luscious rose.
