Nicole Hirsty of Santa Monica’s Cobalt Events is known for designing unique, beautiful and timeless events. So when it came time to find inspiration for the latest trend, Hirsty was immediately drawn to her beloved rose gold Cartier Love ring. “Rose gold adds a distinct touch to any wedding,” explains Hirsty. “It is a unique yet classic and exclusive metal that stands the test of time and has been used for hundreds of years in watches, engagement rings, necklaces and more.” Most important, the subtly colored metal can serve as a neutral as it pairs well with any palette, especially spring and summer shades. And with rose gold’s recent popularity, there are plenty of options in votives, vases, picture frames, candles and more. “I love pairing rose gold with blush,” says Hirsty. “Together, the two tones evoke such a romantic and timeless palette.”
