What distinguishes your venue?

We have multiple venues in each port ranging from classic antique yachts to luxurious three story cruisers.

Our wedding professionals help with pre-planning every detail of the day and our on-site event managers will ensure smooth sailing on the big day.

 

What is the capacity of your reception location?

Varies based on port and selected yacht. Range is from 2-1000

 

Do you have space for doing a ceremony? Where do ceremonies usually take place?

Ceremony space is often held on outer deck of the yacht to capitalize on beautiful panoramic views, however, can take place on any deck/level.

 

What are your dinner prices for a sit-down and buffet?

San Diego - Dining (Seated & Buffet) prices start at $119 per person

Newport Beach – Dining (Seated & Buffet) prices start at $91 per person

Marina del Rey – Dining (Seated & Buffet) prices start at $91 per person

San Francisco - Dining (Seated & Buffet) prices start at $89 per person

 

What is the rental cost?

Pricing varies on the package selected. See above for starting dinner rates.

 

Am I required to use your food, beverages, and serving attendants?

Yes, we are a full service planning company.

 

What is your cake cutting fee?

Fee is included with package

 

What is your closing time?

No official closing time and is only based on your yacht rental period. There may be county regulations regarding loud music after specific times.

 

Is there adequate parking available?

Yes, each port varies in regards to available space. Any additional parking needs can be addressed on an as needed basis.

 

Do you have a PA system?

Yes, as well as, various A/V equipment.

 

Do you have overnight accommodations?

No, but can make recommendations for our hotel partners in the immediate area.

 

Is there anything else you would like me to know?

We have an intimate wedding package for guests of 30 or less. Private ceremony is performed by Captain and reception takes place on our regularly scheduled public brunch or dinner cruise.

What a dream to get married on Hornblower! If you want a unique wedding experience for everyone...this is the best choice for experience and price! Food, better than a high end steak house! Salmon and filet mignon was to die for. The wedding coordinator on the boat and the bartender/server were so amazing. The DJ played every song we requested him to play. The only complaint.....it wasn't long enough! It was 4 hours, but man...only one more hour would have been perfect! The staff did it perfectly and gave everyone a night they will never forget! We highly recommend the sunset hours....beautiful! Don't waste your $ on a standard, traditional wedding venue. This is the greatest idea in the world. Take a chance and do it!
