Nicole & Brett: A Flower Market-Inspired Wedding at Lombardi House
Nicole and Brett wanted a simple, yet sophisticated wedding. The Victorian farmhouse feel of Hollywood's Lombardi House was the perfect setting for the contemporary, greenhouse-feeling the couple sought.
White florals and fresh greenery enhanced the natural, airy feeling of the space with modern elements and plenty of candlelight. In lieu of a traditional ceremony arch, Bloombox Designs created a setting inspired by an outdoor flower market featuring a mix of garden roses, hyacinth, lavender and more displayed in a variety of vessels from wooden boxes to terra cotta pots. The Lombardi House's natural wooden slats added to a rustic element to the modern display, but the true star of the show was the couple's dog Batman!
Hip hop and R&B classics from the 90s filled the reception space while guests danced the night away. To complement the traditional LA themed wedding experience guests dined on fare from local food trucks, including the legendary Kogi BBQ's Asian fusion tacos and hand tossed pizza from Urban Oven. Guests busted their diets at the gourmet donut bar boasting ten unique flavors including: chocolate salted caramel, peanut butter, coconut key lime pie and strawberry rose pistachio.
