Rustic Elegance at Triunfo Creek
The vast and elegant Triunfo Creek Malibu vineyard entirely owned by the newly-weds-to-be — sounds like a swanky and luxiourious affair. This couple, however, achieved the utmost elegance with a touch of the personal and rustic to a tee. From a cornhole game in the grass to cute boots for all the bridesmaids, the simplicity was charming. At the same time, with such a gorgeous, posh venue, a well-known band, and Codi Caraco and Ted Wendler at the wedding ceremony, elegance was most definitely acheived. The talented Tana Hayes captured every moment brilliantly from the green acres of grapevines to the golden sunset illuminating the stunning couple. Brides-to-be, prepare for some serious eye candy and inspiration.
From the bride:
I grew up riding horses next door to this venue and one day my family ended up purchasing the property because the location is so near and dear to our hearts. When Nick and I started dating we would come out to it and camp, ride ATVs and drink wine. It’s always felt like our special place so when he proposed we knew exactly where our wedding would be! We really wanted to create a wedding atmosphere that was rustic and laid back so that everyone we loved could enjoy themselves, yet we wanted to keep an elegant feel. We incorporated bits of Nick and bits of myself into every detail. For me, we had to have an amazing band, The Spazmatics, and the flowers were not over done and there were more candles and lighting that brought out the natural beauty of the space. For Nick, we had secret hidden barrels with his favorite beer hidden inside and a Bronco’s themed cornhole game in the grass. We had a great time and are enjoying being newlyweds. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
