Fullerton-based Found Vintage Rentals (foundrentals.com) has opened a second location in Emeryville to serve its Northern California and Napa fanbase. Owner Jeni Maus is known for her curated collection of furniture, décor and details, from vintage bar carts and farm tables to apothecary jars and candlesticks, sourced from flea markets and antique shops around the globe. “I’m always trying to bring in items that are new and different for both locations,” notes Maus. “But at the end of the day, I buy what I love.”

Add a splash of color to your reception tables with Glassybaby’s (glassybaby.com) hand-blown votives, which are now available for rental ($5 each). Choose from its inventory of more than 400 colors or opt for a curated collection, such as the “Happily Ever After,” in hues of wedding white. In addition, Glassybaby’s Berkeley hot shop and store (Berkeley, 745 Heinz Ave.) offers a warehouse-style event space perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners or bridal showers (accommodates 5 to 500 guests). Turn it into an interactive experience by adding a hands-on glassblowing experience and tour while giving back, as every event hosted at Glassybaby benefits the host’s chosen nonprofit organization.

Chef Neal Fraser and Amy Knoll Fraser’s lauded restaurant Redbird (redbird.la), in downtown LA, has added a new event space to their ever-expanding roster, The Garden at Redbird. Nestled behind the former cathedral turned event space Vibiana (also owned and operated by the Frasers), the cozy 6,000-square-foot space is shared with the Little Tokyo Branch Library next door and is home to chef Fraser’s seasonal garden of vegetables, fruits and herbs, as well as an outdoor wood-fired oven. Tucked under a canopy of olive trees, the space is perfect for setting up a feasting table for a rehearsal dinner or reception with a luxe dinner served from
Fraser’s kitchen.

The Huntington Bay Club in Huntington Beach (huntingtonbayclub.com) has undergone a beautiful transformation under the helm of Orange County’s catering powerhouse 24 Carrots (24carrots.com). Positioned along a private cove at Huntington Beach’s marina, the redesigned waterfront venue has a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces that are ideal for intimate gatherings, extravagant events and everything in between. Perfect for nautical lovers, the club boasts expansive waterfront views and three indoor ballrooms, as well as an expansive outdoor terrace and a white sand beach (perfect for ceremonies).
