The two were standing on the beach watching the sun set behind the glimmering ocean when Joel got down on one knee and asked Janelle to marry him. An elevated ceremony platform provided the perfect solution for avoiding the fuss of a beach wedding in the sand and gave the design a sophisticated feel. Janelle and Joel envisioned a timeless wedding day complete with a romantic ambience and elegant décor, ultimately achieved through a stunning neutral color palette and breathtaking candles, candelabras and gold accents. Luxurious floral centerpieces showcased the most beautiful ivory and cream roses, hydrangea, peonies and lisianthus, while sleek glassware and gold place settings completed the reception design. The couple opted for a large mirror listing guests’ names in lieu of traditional escort cards, adding a unique touch to the day as well as a beautiful décor piece. An array of cakes was displayed at the dessert station and a cigar bar was open to guests as the night went on.
