Scarlette Bartending is giving the traditional toast a serious kick. The Los Angeles–based company, which specializes in artisanal cocktails and specialty infused spirits—imagine lavender vodka and caramel buttered rum—offers couples a soon-to-be-famous ’Til Death shot in lieu of the proverbial Champagne toast. “[The toast] is the one moment when everything stops and all the guests commune with this apothecary potion to honor the bride and groom,” explains owner Claudine Kielson. The ‘Til Death infusion is customized for the occasion, depending on the bride and groom’s palate (or color palette) and served to guests in chic test tubes or mini apothecary jars.
