Hanna and Matt envisioned classic romance as a key element of their wedding day at Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection in Napa Valley. Matt popped the question after seven years together, and the couple has been through a plethora of life changes as partners, which culminated in their formal union. Timeless elements were key to actualizing their vision, but it also became a motif to feature modern details, largely aided by the architecture and design of Stanly Ranch and its vineyard setting. Another aspect that stood out was the guest experience; creating a design that was equally beautiful and enjoyable for their loved ones took priority for Hanna and Matt.
The organic elegance of springtime was also a heavy source of inspiration, and shades of ivories, creams and soft blushes were a delicate interpretation of the season. Florals designed by Amanda Vidmar were a lush and blooming showcase of neutral beauty swathed by greenery, using a floral arch to set the backdrop for the ceremony. Hanna tied the knot in a strapless ballgown with floral embellishments that modernized a traditional silhouette with an eye-catching high leg slit. Dinner took place in the Glasshouse Barn at Stanly Ranch, which hosted a glorious reception. Wedding planner Jacqueline Hallgarth commented to the design, "We wanted to soften up the space by bringing in a mixture of long tables & rounds draped with a clean velvet ivory linen from BBJ La Tavola that had a mixture of white ceramic and glass, with white flowers and greenery. A collection of taper candles in neutral tones created a warm glow and incorporated the color palette in a discrete way on the long tables." The sweetest moment of the evening was after the guests had departed, when the newlyweds snuck back into the Glasshouse Barn for one last private dance.
