Fit for a Queen: Elsa Inspired Wedding Gowns

Trends

Unless you've been living in an underground cave, we bet you know a thing or two about Frozen. After all, the Disney film took the
world by storm with amazing musical numbers (just try getting "Let It Go" out of your head), hilarious characters and an entertaining plotline. However, there was one aspect of the movie that people
just simply could not get over: the dress. Elsa’s sparkling blue number has inspired numerous
gowns in this season’s wedding collections for a long list of our favorite designers.

While some brides dream of looking and feeling like a Disney princess
on their wedding day, others look for something that will make them look like a
queen.  Have no fear! We have pulled some
of our favorite gowns worthy of the ice queen, herself.

The gorgeous gown pictured left by Romona Keveza features a stunning illusion neckline similar to that of Queen Elsa's and a shimmering texturized fabric that will sparkle and shine down the aisle.

This "Raphaella" Claire Pettibone dress with blue lining and a delicate lace overlay screams "Queen Elsa" but isn't over-the-top. Not to mention the gentle capped sleeves and dropped waist! Need we say anymore?

A second Claire Pettibone dress, "Eden", also features a light blue lining and overlay with an allusion neckline, intricate embroidery, and a silhouette almost identical to Elsa's - so you can get the look without the hassle of a cape.

The "Delilah" gown by Eugenia Couture also features a silhouette and beadwork similar to that of Elsa's without the blue lining and sleeves found in the others. For the more traditional bride who religiously watches the movie and just can't seem to get "Let it Go" out of your head, this is the gown for you.

This is the ultimate "fit for a queen" gown. Between the beaded bodice and full-length ball gown skirt, this Badgley Mischka is the ultimate royal wedding gown that is totally something the Queen herself would wear on her wedding day.
