The Colony Estate in Camarillo hosted Navie and Anish's glamorous real-life wedding, which was a true showcase of both culture and style. Michele Fox Gott with the Center of Attention Events planned a luxurious fête to actualize Navie and Anish's vision of a vibrant and elegant event set against the grandiose and classic backdrop of the Colony Estate. Our bride and groom brought their cultural customs into the big day with two custom-made outfits embellished with hand-sewn details. A glistening enchantment infused both looks; our groom adopted a regal interpretation of color and our bride wowed in a two-piece creation and a mesh cape-style wrap. A lively cocktail hour prepared guests for the ceremony with intricately designed cocktails and a delightfully extravagant champagne tower.
The day's festivities featured a daring color palette: sage greens and bright oranges. While it seems an unlikely combo, the al fresco reception paired the colors seamlessly and stylishly against mirrored tables and décor details. Green chairs were an extension of nature guiding your eyes toward centerpieces of brilliant orange flowers. The tablescapes were fairly minimalistic, further enhancing the drama and allure of our sweetheart couch. Navie and Anish's lounging area was enveloped with organic orange flora in carefully curated designs, accented with golden vessels and ethereal white pillar candles. Adding just the right grandiose touch, chandeliers hanging from greenery in a feat of gravity created the ultimate garden gala. Sophistication and whimsy were elegantly intertwined throughout Navie and Anish's wedding day, which created a design that brought the Colony Estate's natural surroundings to life with lively touches and details. Photo-ops galore both inside and outside of the Colony Estate's sprawling house tied together the day and solidified a colorful and charismatic ambiance.
