California Love: A Gorgeous Wedding Celebration At The Fairmont Mirimar Hotel & Bungalows In Santa Monica

Mary and Drew tied the knot during a beautiful church ceremony in Santa Monica. The bride looked gorgeous in a sleek white gown and a chic pair of sandals, while the groom opted for a dapper blue suit. Stella Bloom Designs crafted a lovely bouquet for Mary full of white blooms and greenery that added a stunning element to her wedding day look. Guests made their way to The Farimont Mirimar Hotel & Bungalows for the wedding reception, where The Lighter Side lit up the space with warm amber-hued lighting. Mary and Drew shared their first dance together as Mr. and Mrs. and closed out the night celebrating with their family and friends.

How did you meet?

"When Andrew Bozalis headed out west to chase his dreams of being a Hollywood big shot he had no idea he would find someone who would change his story forever: the love of his life. After some chance matchmaking and Drew's persistent attempts to take out college wild woman Mary Zima, she finally agreed to a blind date. Three jobs, four moves, an adopted dachshund and seven and a half years later, Mary said yes to Drew again and the fairytale love story was about to reach new heights when they married on their eight-year anniversary."

Did you have a romantic proposal?

"Yes! We've been going up to Sonoma every year since we've met with a group of our friends. Drew planned the proposal at our favorite winery, Gundlach Bundschu, and the the proposal itself took place outside a beautiful house on the property called "Mary's House" overlooking the vineyard. It was the second stop on our winery tour that day-before we had too many glasses (which quickly changed). Afterwards all of our friends came out and we had a party in the house. Drew is not the planner in our partnership so he definitely had me tricked and I was so surprised he had planned such an elaborate day. I even came to find out later that he had secretly travelled home from CA to my hometown, Kansas City, to ask my parents permission beforehand. I was so touched."

What was your inspiration for your wedding theme/colors? Describe the ambiance of the wedding reception, décor, food, special touches and special moments.

"The inspiration of the theme/colors was California elegance. The colors were neutrals, deep green, and gold. T
