Emily Choi and Samuel Kim’s airy spring wedding was a heartwarming display of family unity and love with a stunning Beverly Hills backdrop. A color palette of pinks, oranges and rouges complemented the verdant lawn and neutral hues of the hotel’s Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The outdoor ceremony featured bright blue skies and an abundance of pale flower petals on a breathtaking terrace. As signs of their family’s unwavering strength, Emily’s children received roles in the ceremony, with Lyla as the flower girl and Daniel as the ring bearer. The children’s drawings also appeared on custom cocktail napkins and matchboxes during the reception, where tall windows, modern glass chandeliers and delicate florals created a glamorous yet minimalistic atmosphere. Highlights included pyramids of mouthwatering sweets from Sugarfina as favors and an intricate, shining ice luge. During their first dance, Daniel and Lyla joined Emily and Samuel on the dancefloor, a charming representation of Samuel becoming their father – and by extension, the entire family becoming one.
