French Blue Hues and Lush Florals at Rolling Hills Country Club

Traveling from Texas, Katherine and Trevor envisioned a California destination wedding—one designed to immerse their guests in the natural beauty of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Their wedding weekend began with a “West Coast Welcome” at Point Vincente Interpretive Center, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Florals inspired by Katherine’s Irish and Scottish heritage, including blue thistle, heather, fern and soft white blooms, complemented the panoramic ocean views. The next morning, guests were welcomed at the historic Neighborhood Church of Palos Verdes Estates for a ceremony framed by lush hydrangea arrangements, softened with organic greenery and sage, ivory and French blue hues.

Katherine and Trevor’s reception at Rolling Hills Country Club blended classic garden romance and coastal refinement, with four distinct tablescapes curated throughout the space. The party did not stop at sundown; late-night festivities included a custom burger station inspired by one of California’s most iconic burger stands, a crowd-favorite moment complete with personalized branding and paper goods.
