Jenn McCann and Gabe Borboa’s love story began in the most modern of ways—on a dating app. From their first conversation, it was evident they were a match. Their journey led them to the sprawling Grassini Family Vineyards, where their deep appreciation for fine wine solidified their choice for a destination wedding. Against the backdrop of the Santa Ynez Valley, they exchanged vows in an enchanting olive grove beneath the shade of a 100-year-old oak tree. The ceremony, attended by 200 of their closest family members and friends, was a harmonious blend of sophistication and authenticity. The design showcased organic floral arrangements featuring neutral tones and white florals, such as cosmos and white ranunculus, and foliage for another textural element. Cascading from ceramic vessels, the flowers brought another earthy touch to the surroundings and complemented the vineyard’s inherent beauty. Following the nuptials, guests traversed a picturesque bridge for cocktail hour. Specialty cocktails flowed as guests enjoyed the stunning view overlooking the scenic valley. A farm-to-table dinner of effortless design awaited in a secluded oak grove and was adorned with hundreds of candles and an iconic disco ball. Late-night snacks elevated the festivities, which included an unexpected Pop-a-Shot game— a nod to Gabe’s history as a Division 1 basketball player—and an epic dance party.
