Courtney Harrelson and Patrick Seger kicked off their love story in the same place most rom-com “meet cutes” occur: at someone else’s wedding. Though they had known each other for years, they had never been single at the same time—until that fateful day. Fast-forward to Napa Valley, where Courtney and Patrick’s wedding planning began with one simple goal: timeless elegance. “We wanted a monochromatic, white-and-ivory theme with just enough modern touch to be current but enough elegance to be tasteful for decades to come,” Courtney explains. With Napa’s rolling hills as their backdrop, minimal décor was the key to letting the natural beauty shine. They skipped the traditional cocktail hour, opting for a seated wine tasting—a nod to their love of wine and the setting, as well as a perk of hosting a micro wedding. On the wedding day, guests gathered for an outdoor ceremony in which Patrick walked down the aisle to John Mayer’s cover of “XO.” Courtney followed to a stunning rendition of “Simply the Best.” Custom vows sealed their commitment in a heartfelt, intimate moment. At the reception, the dessert table overflowed with sweets, honoring Patrick’s love for them and Courtney’s passion for baking. Surrounded by 16 loved ones, the couple sat down to make one united family, sharing stories and laughter as the Napa sun set.
