Stephanie Nguyen and David Ou tied the knot on their eleventh year together to the day. The two spent their morning together, eschewing themselves from the tradition of staying apart before their wedding. Clean and fresh florals had guests oohing and ahhing -- cascading white orchids paired with white and green amaranthus fostered an ethereal yet contemporary air to the evening. The couple were effortlessly cool in their attire, Stephanie in an edgy asymmetrical gown and David selecting a sleek suit in lieu of a tux. Opting out of the planned dances that punctuate most weddings, Stephanie and David aimed for a more intimate atmosphere. Stephanie says, “At the end of the day, I wanted our reception to feel like a really elevated dinner with good food, outfits, conversation and music.” They were grateful for their decision to prioritize their comfort on their wedding day, feeling they had achieved their aim given their personal satisfaction as well as the overwhelming love and praise from their guests.
