The San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido has always held a special place in bride Mary’s heart. Although her father died shortly before their wedding, Mary and James honored his memory by hosting their nuptials in the spot he held so dear. With giraffes towering in the background and their family and friends gathered around, the bride, donned in a Vera Wang gown, and the groom, dapper in forest green, exchanged vows in the breathtaking safari landscape. Attention to detail and recognition of the venue permeated the day, from natural elements incorporated into the floral design to a giraffe motif adorning the stationery. For a walk on the wild side, guests moseyed through the Safari Park before the ceremony and even experienced a live animal encounter with an anteater.
