After the stress of planning wedding with an evergrowing guest list during the pandemic made them reconsider their original plans, couple Claire and Benet decided to embrace the unusual times and create a small, intimate ceremony. The couple decided on Redbird's garden for their venue, as they once went there for a romantic date night and was therefore full of special memories. With Redbird's beautiful architecture, amazing food, and beautiful private garden with string lights and olive tree canopies, most of the wedding inspiration was already taken care of. With Claire and Benet's love for art, especially minimalism, wedding planner Summer Newman of Summer Newman Events made it a part of a decor and ceremony. The altar was given an oval design with autumnal florals such as banksia, cymbidium orchids, hybrid delphiniums, bittersweet vine, toffee colored anthurium, and fall blooming branches for a bold statement piece. They also used a riser to ensure every guest could see the ceremony. Line art was used on the menus and custom hand santitizers to stick to the minimalist theme. The florals and candle decor was used to elevate the venues already dazzling atmosphere into a romantic garden with an elegant dinner party. Soft neutrals and warm hues were used to create a unique yet magical pocket of allure surrounded by the urban environment of Los Angeles, which was all captured beautifully by in Jeremy Chou's photographs. Benet's mom made ornaments of two interwoven tree for the guests to take home as a favor, since the couple wanted to give their guests a momento from the ceremony that was personal and full of memories. Claire and Benet also made sure their guests were well fed, has they chose a delicious variety of cuisine for their three course plated meal, with silky gazpacho with lump crab, the Ricotta Cavatelli with lobster and chanterelle mushrooms, and a choice of Halibut, Filet, or BBQ Tofu. All in all, the happy couple celebrated in a beautiful ceremony that was perfectly crafted to match the refined and elegant energy that they fell in love with.
