San Francisco natives, Jillian and Justin, fell in love in with the spectacular landscape of California's breathtaking wine country. When they got engaged, they instantly knew it was there that would create the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. They opted to celebrate their nuptials at the scenic and elegant Mountain House Estate in Cloverdale, which features 40 acres of rolling hills, native trees, pristine gardens. The expansive and secluded grounds perfectly aligned with the vibrant and rich colors they wished to incorporate into their design. As the bride noted, "I didn’t want to do the generic color schemes that I normally saw, and with my bridal party being women of color and a beautiful gay man, I wanted colors that would be rich and pop against their skin.” Bridesmaid and fashion designer, Brittnay Christina, designed custom looks for each member of the bridal party, from dresses to pantsuits. Each stunning design featured a bold hue of either golden yellow, vibrant orange or dusty rose.
To add some personal elements to their celebration, the couple opted to exchange their vows in private, using their first look as the perfect time to do so. In addition, the bride's mother created all floral arrangements which featured an organic mix of brilliant blooms. Adding an element of surprise to the reception, the wedding party participated in a choreographed dance to "Crazy in Love" that won over the crowd and kicked off an incredible dance party in the most delightful way.
