"Our highest goal is to ensure our brides’ ideas are heard and understood before we even discuss ours with them. We start with pictures as we can usually tell very quickly what a bride is liking even if she isn’t quite sure yet. She may not even realize how particular she is on her brows or blush color until asked."
– Kacee Geoffroy, KG Hair and Makeup

Classic makeup gets an update with a bold pop of a jewel-toned color to accentuate the drama of the bridal gown. The makeup team at KG Hair and Makeup complemented the bride’s natural red locks with a rich blue eye shadow to brighten and open the eyes while keeping the look soft and romantic. “A navy or olive-green eye shadow or eyeliner can look absolutely gorgeous for a daytime ceremony and carry into the evening by giving off a sexier feel as the light changes,” says owner Kacee Geoffroy. “It’s a fun way for a bride to show her personality if she likes bolder things.”

"We want our brides to feel fresh, modern and confidently stylish while wearing their gown."
– Tanya Bures, Page
Beauty

Luminous, ethereal beauty complements this gown’s gold beading as the tiny orbs reflect the sunlight. Shimmering shades of gold and rose perfectly enhance the bride’s warm skin tone, and feathery, light eyebrows and delicate lashes call attention to the eyes. The bride’s natural curls bring an airiness to the style.

Effortless, modern hair is achieved with a combination of low, loose twists. To embolden the bride’s makeup, Page Beauty’s Tanya Bures applied smokey layers of copper and shimmering plum shadows around the lash line and created a soft contour along the cheekbone. Instead of the nude lip that is de rigueur with a smokey eye, the artist opted for a bold pop of pink coral on the lips to create a fresh look.

"Our advice for your bridal hair and makeup is: be present, communicate, relax and enjoy. Be present and communicate during your bridal preview with your talented artist. Together you will create your perfect wedding-day look. Our main focus is to have our brides feel like their most beautiful and confident self."
– Jackie Hanson, Design Visage

Elevated and natural are the keys to both of thesewedding-day looks. The artists from Design Visage embraced the naturally curly locks by amplifying them with just the right amount of styling and products. Meticulously placed lashes accent the eyes, while the lips are filled out with a light touch of gloss.

"To define a bride’s look, we ask for three adjectives that describe her style and aesthetic. We also take into consideration the bride’s comfort level with wearing makeup as well as the design of her dress: the neckline, the shape, the back, the movement—all of this comes together as we work with the bride to create her wedding-day hair and makeup.
– Tara Dowburd, Make-Up Therapy

The brow is the main event in this soft, natural look. Dowburd created a subtle, smoky eye that incorporated hues of warm gold, beige, taupe, chocolate and a touch of peach to accentuate the bride’s hazel eyes. She then finished the look with glowing skin, warm earth-toned cheeks and a neutral glossy lip. Inspired by the movement and whimsical draping of the wedding gown, Dowburd had hairstylist Jenna Najera create an effortlessly chic up-style with texture and loose pieces softly framing the face.
