Desert Daze
Sun-drenched pink and pale blue embody the relaxed pace of life in California’s desert. A modish invitation suite by Strictly Personal Designs offers a geometric backdrop and the seamless flow of ombré, perfectly accented by blooms in subtle tones and miniature, neon-tinted cattails in arrangements by The Little Branch. The invitations include “liner” detailing matching up modernity with an abstract design that is emblematic of Palm Desert. Foliage in various shades of green has been arranged among coral, lavender and burnt-orange blooms in our balmy bouquet and boutonniere. Striking green tourmaline jewelry brings out the muted verdure in the florals. Ring: Bezel-set 9.5-carat green tourmaline cabochon ring in yellow gold. Necklace and earrings: Green tourmaline bezel-set cabochon illusion necklace in yellow gold. All pieces by Rahaminov Diamonds.
We were inspired by the beautiful color palette – reminiscent of a desert SUNSET. We created a gradient background from the color palette, then built a breeze-block pattern to frame the text. The IKAT pattern was lifted from the venue’s interior design and recolored. We figured out how to incorporate a JOSHUA TREE silhouette into the monogram. Everything really works together to create a kind of elegant, ROMANTIC maximalism.

Mountain Highs
Romance at the summit of a California mountain is captured in misty lavender, soft pink and periwinkle hues. Vintage-inspired invitations and paper products by QueenBee Design Studio showcase a script font that conjures an image of writing by a woodland fire. Bountiful pastel floral arrangements by Kate Flowers LA appear plucked from a hillside meadow. Elements of the invitation evoke a storybook charm, complemented by the nuanced gold details of the suite. Our bouquet and boutonniere are composed of gentle-hued wildflowers to accentuate the suite’s femininity. Ring: Radiant-cut 2.01-carat diamond “Sara” ring with a melee of diamonds, in white gold, from Rahaminov Diamonds.
This invitation drew inspiration from the concept of a NOSTALGIC old-world romance, aiming to transport guests to an era when LOVE LETTERS were the heartfelt expressions of couples’ emotions. Through INTRICATE features like hand-painted edges and delicately torn edges, this suite captures the harmonious blend of REFINEMENT and liberation.

Ocean Tides
Shoreline fetes are a California hallmark. Ornate, shell designs paired with an exuberant palette by The Bridal Press revitalize this classic beachy invitation. In joyous tones of peach, lemon and sky blue, the floral creations by Flawless Flowers by Falynn infuse a playfulness that mirrors the laid-back love that epitomizes life along the Pacific. Refined diamond wedding bands flank our bicolor boutonniere, which stars Craspedia and thistle. The textures of the tiered bouquet radiate the wild quality of the sea. Suite details reflect inspiration taken from the coastline, from Mendocino to Coronado. Top ring: Oval diamond in buttercup setting in yellow gold. Bottom ring: Pear-shaped diamonds in buttercup setting on an east-west yellow gold band. Both by Rahaminov Diamonds.
I incorporated soft blue delphiniums for a WATER element, toffee rose for a sand feel, and yellow to represent the California SUN, because it’s golden here in California. I wanted the bouquet to feel ORGANIC, like foliage you naturally gathered from our resources.
