An evening of modern and contemporary glamor was exactly what California Wedding Day created within the classic ballroom of The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. Une Nuit de Couture was a huge success with jaw-dropping décor and design by AOO Events celebrating fashion by JLM Couture Boutique and the wedding industry. From glittering gold tables, impressive structural pieces, artisanal cocktails by Scarlette Bartending and sparkling chandeliers, guests were sure to be dazzled all evening long.
In addition to exquisite tablescapes, the floral design was absolutely stunning. Atop the fireplace mantle at the top of the ballroom laid 70 bunches of million-star gypsophila, creating an impressive abstract statement piece. Each long dining table was also home to remarkable centerpieces with 40 towering gold vases brimming with hydrangeas, roses, and cymbidium orchids, each accented with garlands of mini callas.
Tabletops and mantles weren’t the only places flowers and greenery by AOO Floral could be admired. Models in the runway shows also displayed headpieces structured from flexi grass, orchid elements, and hyacinth blossoms. Dazzling and dramatic bridal gowns from JLM Couture rounded off the evening in two beautiful fashion shows; the first offering vintage-glam gowns, and the second boasting modern-bohemian bridal styles.
And what is a party without food? The menu was through the roof presenting six divine courses from Chef Simon Lewis of The Riviera Country Club. From baja rock crab salad, lobster gelee, Alaskan halibut, fava crusted Colorado lamb rack, and much more deliciousness, dinner was an absolute treat indeed.
