After three long years, the wedding industry reunited once again to celebrate. California's Best Of 2022 awards gala toasted the most innovative and talented professionals in California's wedding industry. The achievement honors the top wedding vendors statewide - from San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Malibu/Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo - as voted upon by industry peers through an open voting process held online at californiaweddingday.com. DTLA’s historic Vibiana set the stage for the awards show on May 17th, where the wedding industry was celebrated and winners were announced. This year’s event design was pure magic, featuring a talented team of vendors who joined forces to flawlessly coordinate and execute this event including The Blushing Details, Dee Lee Designs, Michelle Garibay Events, Natalie Sofer Weddings & Events, Flowers by Lady Buggs, Leta Verbena, Maggie Jensen Event Floral and Shawna Yamamoto Event Design. To create the overall vision and branding for the event, our CWD team worked closely with the creative Jasmin Michelle Designs, who artfully turned out the invitations, signage, dance floor design and more for the evening. Publisher Thea Hargrove and Editor-In-Chief Lara Burnap, both glammed up by Page Beauty, Love Laura Rocha announced the winners amongst an energetic audience, while new owner of California Wedding Day, Sonja Babich of Iron Diamond Media, exuded her excitement for California Wedding Day's future.
After the winners were announced, guests mingled in the exquisitely designed Vibiana Courtyard and danced their way back into the Main Hall - all while enjoying fantastical nibbles from Chef and Owner Neal Fraser of Redbird | Vibiana, specialty cocktails by Redbird | Vibiana, organic spirits from Greenbar Distillery and wine from Oyster Ridge Ancient Peaks Winery.
