Opening in 1958, the Catamaran has become a central part of Mission Bay, with 310 guest rooms and event spaces perfect for up to 350 guests. 

Facilities and Capacities:

Beach Venues: Beach South and Beach North are two of The Catamaran's sand ceremony venues. Perfect for ceremonies up to 250, these beach-side venues offer an enchanting up-close experience of being married alongside the water, in addition to enjoying the best views Mission Bay has to offer. 

Lawn Venues: The Catamaran's lawn venues offer a wonderful space for small and large weddings alike! The South Lawn, located near Catamaran's Spa and Oceana Coastal Kitchen, provides a perfect venue space for up to 120 guests. Just across the boardwalk is Beach North. This iconic location is the largest ceremony site on property, holding up to 350 guests. Both South and North Lawn offer an incredible experience of having the bay as your backdrop on your special day.

Garden Gazebo: The absolute perfect space for an intimate wedding ceremony with 25-70 guests. Hidden among exotic palm trees and beside serene ponds with koi, ducks and turtles, our Gazebo provides a perfect ceremony and cocktail hour location for smaller wedding celebrations looking to enjoy a more private venue space within lush gardens.

Boardroom: The Boardroom is your perfect intimate indoor reception space, perfectly sized for weddings 25-80. With an incredible foyer space and an outdoor balcony, guests can enjoy the views of Mission Bay for a fantastic cocktail hour before dancing the night away at the reception. 

Aviary Ballroom: Aviary Ballroom is another spacious reception venue at The Catamaran, fitting up to 250 guests. Like the Boardroom, this space provides guests with a front-row view of Mission Bay- with beautiful windows and doors to an open-air balcony. This stunning ballroom brings a touch of tropical elegance, with hand-painted murals and breathtaking crystal chandeliers. 

Kon Tiki Ballroom: Kon Tiki Ballroom is The Catamaran's signature Polynesian-Styled Ballroom. Accented by its South Pacific inspired cathedral ceiling and new tropical-wooden chandeliers, this ballroom is a breathtaking reception venue perfect for up to 350 guests.
