After visiting a long list of wedding venues, Angel Kittiyachavalit and Grant Helton fell in love with the scenic Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm in Goleta, just outside Santa Barbara. The couple first met in college through a close friend of Angel’s, and about a year after meeting, the two became roommates in San Francisco. Angel and Grant started dating shortly thereafter, and Grant proposed to Angel eight years later on a cliff at Rodeo Beach, despite accidentally leaving the ring in the car. The creative duo’s wedding was inspired by their individuality and the beautiful California sunrise. Angel’s nontraditional Hermione de Paula pink ombre gown gave a special touch to their celebration.

The couple’s wedding planners at Wild Heart Events, together with Angel, who runs her own online shop, Design + Happiness, incorporated her original tote bag and pin designs as party favors for the wedding guests. Grant, who is a software developer, teamed up with his dad to design and construct the ceremony arch, ceremony boxes, A-frame signs and escort card display. Siren Floral Co. created the perfect ambiance with stunning arrangements featuring fresh and dried flowers in sunrise hues of blush, coral and peach.

From the bride and groom’s entrance in a vintage Mercedes to their multiple outfit changes, the couple surprised their guests at every moment of the celebration. The last song of the evening, “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, reflected the couple’s desire to never forget their magical wedding day.
