Hi, I’m Dezerae Jobe — a destination elopement, intentional wedding, and couples adventure photographer based in Southern Oregon and traveling worldwide.

I’ve been photographing love stories since 2012, and at the heart of everything I do is connection. I’m drawn to the moments you can actually feel — the wind catching your dress, the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the way your person looks at you when they think no one else is watching. Those imperfect, emotional, completely real moments are what make your story yours.

My photography is candid, adventurous, and deeply inspired by the outdoors. I’m known as a bit of a “light chaser,” always watching for the way sunlight filters through the Redwoods, glows across an Oregon coastline, or slips between mountain peaks. When beautiful light, an incredible landscape, and genuine emotion come together, that’s where the magic happens.

But I’m more than just your photographer.

I work closely with my couples to create a day that actually feels like them — helping choose locations, build timelines, navigate permits, and incorporate the things they genuinely love into their experience. Maybe that means kayaking to your ceremony, hiking into the forest, exchanging vows on a cliffside, or slowing everything down and celebrating with the people who matter most.

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

It should feel like you.

When I’m not traveling or behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home just outside Grants Pass living my farm-girl life with my alpacas, sheep, chickens, flower garden, and whatever creative project I’ve gotten myself into that week. I love creating in every form — photography, resin art, crafts, gardening, and turning an idea into something tangible.

My life is a mixture of muddy boots, epic landscapes, beautiful light, and unforgettable love stories — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I studied photography through The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, but some of my greatest education has come from more than a decade of documenting real people, real emotion, changing light, unpredictable weather, and wedding days that rarely go exactly according to plan.

I don’t just want to give you beautiful photographs.

I want to help you create a day worth remembering.
