Lush and elegant, Jeanine and Vincent’s wedding at the Ethereal Gardens in Escondido, California fulfilled the couple’s wish to embrace the natural beauty of their surroundings with a sophisticated ceremony under a canopy of greenery.
Jeanine and Vincent met with the help of a mutual friend who, after months of attempting to set up the couple, introduced them at a nightclub. A gentleman from the start, Vincent drove Jeanine home and sealed their connection with a kiss to close the evening. They met again the very next day and so began the rest of their lives.
Vincent subtly collected hints as to what Jeanine’s dream engagement ring would look like, and he surprised her with a proposal under a gazebo overlooking the ocean in Laguna Beach. It is no surprise that another surreal natural setting would host their wedding day.
A tunnel of hanging ferns ushered guests into the intimate ceremony, gently swaying in the warm breeze. Delicately strewn petals graced the aisle. Nestled in the garden, natural sunlight enveloped the couple as they exchanged vows in front of their family and friends. The lovely, light atmosphere oozed into a golden hour spent roaming the gardens. Jeanine and Vincent celebrated their first dance privately under the stars, and both donned the traditional Vietnamese Áo dài to honor Vincent’s heritage. For their grand exit, the couple said goodbye to their guests and the beautiful gardens by walking through a sea of glistening bubbles.
