Tropical elegance with dreamy California influences.

Combing her love of tropical islands with her affinity for ethereal California elegance, Dee Lee of Dee Lee Designs melded the two together resulting in a unique design: Tropical European Glam. Design choices focused on neutral tones and played around with a soft feel, incorporating lots of blush and ivory tones throughout. Florals designed by Debbie Hemingway embodied romance to a tee and featured lush blooms and textured blossoms in floral arrangements. Embodying the meld between tropical paradise and classic California culture, florals featured elements from both Hawaii and California, resulting in a showstopping mixture. The bride's bouquet featured elegant blossoms like garden roses paired with dainty greenery with subtle accents of yellow and pink against ivory and neutral tones. The bride dazzled in her gown, an off-the-shoulder silhouette with floral detailing and a tulle train, a perfect complement to the whimsical atmosphere of the day. The groom opted for a more casual getup, featuring a patterned Hawaiian shirt and khakis. Gold candelabra stands were incorporated into the design giving a glamorous feel to the tablescape and paired seamlessly with floral decor, and plates were adorned with delicate orchids. Juniper Calligraphy made handmade calligraphy menus that embodied the intersection of island life with California influences with a delicate and elegant design. Dee commented, "We wanted to give the island and couples hope that they could still celebrate."
