Emily and Jonah tied the knot surrounded by friends and family

Emily and Jonah’s plans to tie the knot at the Beverly Hills Hotel were dashed once the pandemic hit. Not wanting to postpone their nuptials much longer, the couple instead opted to utilize a family friend’s backyard tennis court for an intimate ceremony. Small tables of two to four people each were gifted kippahs and personalized masks for the event, leaving each group looking stylish. Emily walked down the aisle in a sleek dress, and her groom waited for her in front of a floral chuppah designed by La Petite Gardenia. The florist also jazzed up the backyard wedding with bits of jasmine placed on the gates. After exchanging heartfelt vows, the newlyweds had their dining table placed in front of their chuppah. Candles and peonies – as well as hand sanitizer – made for gorgeous centerpieces to match the couple’s personalized monogram. Instead of dancing, fifteen guests gave speeches to the couple – a sweet personalized gesture that brought everyone together despite being physically distanced.
