For their Los Angeles celebration, Jamie and Sean envisioned an elegant black-tie affair with vintage flair—anchored by Old Hollywood sophistication. Who doesn't love a nod to the glitz and glamour of early-days Los Angeles?
The celebration began with a Greek Orthodox ceremony at St. Sophia Cathedral, rich with symbolism—from the crowning ritual to the ceremonial walk around the altar. Afterward, guests were welcomed into the storied halls of The California Club, one of LA’s oldest private clubs, where a grand piano duet featuring a Greek bouzouki paid homage to Jamie’s heritage.
Inside, tables shimmered with silk linens, gold-rimmed chargers and layers of candlelight. The floral palette—anchored in soft creams and ivories—was deepened by dramatic bursts of black and burgundy blooms. Jamie wore a layered tulle Vera Wang gown accented by a striking black horsehair bow, a crystal choker and custom white Louboutins stitched with her initials. Her bridesmaids, all in black, were gifted their own pairs, while even the flower girl strutted in toddler-sized red bottoms.
The reception unfolded like a luxurious dinner party: tray-passed bubbles and oysters carved into a floral-adorned ice sculpture set the tone, followed by a decadent four-course meal. Signature drinks included the “Libertini,” named for their dog, and an espresso martini luge that kept spirits high.
Later, the couple danced to “Runaway (U&I)” by Galantis—a nod to their love of Electronic Dance Music (EDM)—before guests spilled into the after-party, complete with street food, candy bags labeled “She Found Her Mr. Wright” and monogrammed beer pong cups. Elegant, irreverent and joyfully off-script—just like them.
