Located in central Orange County, the historic Ebell Clubhouse of Santa Ana was designed in 1924 by one of the area's best known architects. The stunning building, with its Spanish-style facade and gorgeous interior, was originally built to support and house women's education and philanthropic work. The Ebell of Santa Ana has since transformed into a one-of-a-kind event venue perfect for weddings and special occasions alike.
The Club's original features, including its arched doorways, Spanish tiles, iron chandliers and more, are surrounded by picturesque hundred year old oak trees. There are multiple spaces available for your big day, from the Ebell's large banquet room to its breathtaking outdoor garden courtyard.
Colette's Catering & Events, one of California's finest dining providers, will meet each and every expection with delicious eats for your wedding day. Choose from numerous special event packages that include themed catering selections, event coordinators, professional wait staff, linens, flatware and more, and rest assured that the team at the Ebell will make sure every detail is perfect. In-house day of coordinators are also available in addition to rentals, bar service, wedding cakes and desserts. Colette's Catering & Events provides rehearsal dinners and post wedding brunches for couples with weekend wedding plans.
California Wedding Day recently hosted Ebell Santa Ana's grand opening launch party in March of 2019. The beautiful event, named the Hidden Gem, celebrated Colette's Catering and their successful restoration of this amazing wedding venue. Four incredible California wedding planners were each given a space to transform for the evening, each inspired by a different gem.
The Moonstone Ballroom, designed and executed by Leilani Weddings, featured an amazing tablescape, ceremony and reception space. A grand pampas grass arrangement by Los Angeles Floral Couture served as the centerpiece for the entire space, and cool hues of blue and gold paired with metallic details added a modern feel. An amazing ceremony backdrop showcased dreamy draping and elegant candlelight, and guests were treated to crystal readings from Fortune + Flow. Delightful music from Luminous by Etude and a beautiful piece by John Garcia Event Painter added a certain wow factor to the space.
Flawless Weddings and Events turned the Ebell's Fireside Room into a gold topaz-themed space, with beautiful hues of champagne and yellow bringing a summery feel to the design. Yellow blooms adorned the room's grand piano and chandelier, adding a dramatic flair to the space, while warm candlelight and an amber-hued tablescape completed the luxurious area.
Stephanie Chin Events added a regal feel to the event with the Amethyst Bar, a purple-toned design complete with diamond motifs and hints of crystal and gold. Waveform Events, Entertainment & Lighting added violet lighting to the space, bringing the design to life. Colette's Catering served celestial-inspired cocktails throughout the evening, and guests enjoyed their first look at the new venue.
The Rose Quartz Courtyard, executed by Beijos Events, featured stunning hues of pink paired with natural wood elements and lovely greenery. The Urban Gardener provided the prettiest pink baby's breath for the one-of-a-kind floral table runner and ceremony arch. Happily Ever Etched crafted lovely menus, table numbers and placecards that added a modern feel to the tablescape, and Sweet Salvage's boho-chic rentals tied both the ceremony space and lounge area to together. Two Towns Entertainment performed for guests in the courtyard as the night went on, the perfect closing to an incredible opening event.
