Anh Nguyen and Larry Scharra tied the knot in an elegant and unforgettable black-tie ceremony in Santa Barbara. With a goal of making their wedding clean, modern and playful, the couple opted for a lively event on the rooftop at MOXI Children's Museum. Bringing in bold accents of color throughout decor choices allowed the design to embody the spirit of fun Ahn and Larry were hoping for. Anh stunned in a contemporary gown with a dainty pearl-veil, and her bouquet of white roses, ranunculus and astilbe was the perfect compliment to her gorgeous attire. Larry wore a classic tuxedo featuring a dapper white coat. The bridal party came dressed to impress with black floor-length gowns for the bridesmaids and classic black tuxedos for the groomsmen. The ceremony took inspiration from the ambiance of the rooftop space, featuring a dramatic deconstructed ombre arch fading from bold pinks to elegant whites. In a special twist, Larry's dad actually married the couple in a heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony, guests were greeted by a classy cocktail hour inside the museum. With delicious fan favorites like chicken and waffles and grilled cheese on the menu for appetizers, mouths were watering from the moment food was served. Guests were given a unique opportunity to explore the interactive elements of the museum during the cocktail hour, with some even building go-cars while enjoying their appetizers. Dinner offered even more opportunities to admire the timeless decor, pairing classic charcoal linens with white china in the dazzling open space. Acrylic accents and vellum menus tied the tablescapes together and centerpieces featuring tropical blooms were a hit. As a nod to the ceremony decor, the bride and groom adorned their table with an ombre floral garland. After dinner, guests were greeted downstairs with a jungle-inspired neon after-party. The party tied the entire event together and included a neon-themed photo opp and a ceiling bursting with bold tropical foliage. From the ceremony to the after-party, this event brought a fun and fresh take to a classic wedding.
