A Naturally Elegant Affair at Wente Vineyards

Real Wedding
Amy and Daniel brought their wedding back to where they first met to celebrate with friends and family in a grand style.

Livermore holds an important place in Amy and Daniel’s love story, so it was important to the two of them to tie the knot in their hometown. The couple actually met in elementary school about 20 years prior, just a few miles down the road from where they exchanged vows on September 18, 2021 at Wente Vineyards. While they were just casual friends throughout the rest of their schooling and went to different high schools, their real love story began about 3 years prior to their wedding day on a Friday night in downtown Livermore. The two reconnected over drinks at the local dive bar, VE Club and just 10 days later they went on their first date and have been inseparable since. The two quickly fell in love and stood by each other's side during some of the best and worst moments of their lives; buying and renovating a home, job promotions, master’s degrees, and the loss of loved ones, and specifically Amy’s dad. They quickly realized that no matter what life was going to throw at them, they didn’t want to go through it without the other by their side. Simply put, they were Better Together (which they chose as their first dance song).

Looking back on their wedding day Amy and Daniel both agree, even though they may be a bit biased, they had the best wedding ever. From the small details and decor, the short but extremely sweet and heartfelt ceremony, to the packed dance floor filled with all our friends and family, everything was exactly what they dreamed of. The beauty of the Wente Property played a huge role in the overall aesthetic of the day, but it is the personalized and thoughtful touches that they remember most; The wine bottle seating chart that included a hand painted bottle by the bride’s mom finished off with long stem single florals, the handmade champagne wall (made by the bride’s brother) that provided guests with pre-ceremony bubbly, and the memory table and bouquet locket that honored Amy’s dad and their loved ones that could not be with them to celebrate are just a few. Their wedding coordinator, Erin Russo, of Allora Event Designs and all other vendors, brought all of their visions and planning together with ease. And while the details are what make the aesthetic, the highlights that stand out the most from their wedding day are the moments; the small intimate moments alone during their first look and sunset photos, the pre-ceremony bridal party party that set the tone for the rest of the evening, and the non-stop party and celebration on the dance floor all night long. Even almost three months later they are still hearing people say “Your wedding was the most fun wedding ever!” and “I’ve never seen a dance floor more packed the entire time at a wedding!” After all of the uncertainty of the year and half prior they knew they wanted to throw one hell of a party, in the town they grew up in, at a beautiful venue with simple and classy details, and that's exactly what they did. They both are forever thankful for Stephanie Lynn Photography for capturing all of the details and moments of their special day, so perfectly, so that they can forever relive their best day ever.
