Be Our Guest: Dark Romance Styled Shoot at Lobo Castle
The team at Fairytale Hair and Makeup set out to create the perfect Beauty and the Beast inspired photoshoot, and no venue was more true to the Disney classic than Lobo Castle in the Malibu Hills. The gray brick exterior and whimsical architecture of the castle set the scene for the fantasty of Belle and Prince Adam's wedding dream.
Royal blue and purple invitations showcasing dainty white calligraphy by How Des She Do It Designs beautifully accompanied the regal color palette of pinks, reds, creams and pops of bright yellow and orange. Gold accents added a classy and elegant feel to the shoot, hinting at Belle's famous yellow gown from the Disney love story.
A texturized bouquet full of warm toned hues, complete with red roses and tied with a yellow ribbon by Petals to Paper, created an autumnal vibe that captured the dark romance of Beauty and the Beast. The large wooden table was stylishly adorned with bold floral centerpieces and gold decor, delicate white dishware topped with a single red rose, and Belle's favorite books. A lovely display of pink and red roses sat atop the grand fireplace and gold mirrors displayed quotes from the movie.
Sweet Art Bake Shop decorated a cream three-tiered cake with drapes, pearls and quaint red roses to seamlessly create the classic Beauty and the Beast look. A glass-covered rose topped the cake, an iconic symbol of the story.
