Poolside Styled Shoot with Delicate Tablescapes at Villa Colibri in Sonoma

Reminiscent of a European estate, Villa Colibri hosted this sumptuous styled shoot envisioned by Maryssa from Seven Oh Seven Events. The day was actualized as a collaboration between a team of distinguished California wedding professionals, with Amy Jordan Photography capturing the entire shoot from poolside tablescapes to late-night flash photos. Amy Misbach of Amy Jordan Photography elaborated on the goal, "The aim was to create a romantic garden vibe with a few fun elements such as a champagne tower, outfit change, beautiful cocktails and fun sunglasses for the night flash photos." A poolside table was set with European-style blue patterned linens that were designed to cascade in color and style into the ambience of the estate and the nearby pool. Pink tinted glassware and delicate cream-colored florals were among the refined details that kept the design situated around a soft glamour. Gold-rimmed plates and translucent chargers added a distinctive flair to the tablescapes, which integrated hues of blue, peach and pink. A unique cake from Sweet Cake Sonoma was nestled in a bed of florals as another delightful photo-op for our couple. Across the property our couple explored an array of unique spots to savor a moment alone, notably the bold orange walls which are teeming with style. As evening settled, our bride opted for a shorter second look that featured a statement bow on the back and was accessorized with a short veil and retro pair of sunglasses. A contemporary ending to the shoot still maintained the allure of European style, with a champagne tower moment and flash photography that captures our couple in their element. Overall, this interpretation of wedding design was a gorgeous showcase of the intersection and overlap between classic and contemporary, a style that is captivating couples in the industry right now.
