Beautiful and Bright Vintage Wedding at Catalina View Gardens

Kathyrn McPhee and Joseph Keating (aka: Kate and Joe) grew up just blocks from each other and when high school began, so did their courtship. For a love story that is beautifully simple, nothing other than a gorgeous garden wedding would do. Before the couple said their vows at Catalina View Gardens in Ranchos Palos Verdes, they spent a moment together. “It was a great moment for us to just appreciate how grateful we were,” says Kate.
The couple said their vows to each other under chandeliers hung in a large pepper tree in front of an audience seated in a mix of chairs and pews. Bridesmaids and groomsmen looked on, dressed in neutrals that made the cobalt blue accents throughout the reception pop. The couple chose bright, summery flowers as centerpieces and strung bistro lights over their guests, who sipped on signature cocktails: Kissing Kate Keating and the Hawaiian Honeymoon. At the end of the night, family and friends formed a tunnel and tossed rose petals for the newlyweds’ big exit, creating a sweet end to a sweet story.
