Victoria & Tom: A Citrus-Hued Backyard Wedding Among the Orange Groves
Tom & Victoria got hitched in the backyard of Victoria’s childhood home. The family home is located in a part of Riverside that is filled with orange groves and used to be one of the biggest distributers of citrus in the Greater Los Angeles Area. To honor the history of the place, Marisa Nicole Events worked to infuse the visual motif of citrus groves wherever possible. Fruit crates were utilized throughout the décor, table numbers on vintage orange grove postcards, and best of all, the citrus adorning the décor was all picked from the local groves!
The tabletops featured a runner of greenery over a neutral colored linen with real taper candelabras with varying sized floral arrangements comprised of a healthy mix of colorful garden blooms and greens galore. Swoon. Vintage napkins and mismatched china with flatware at each place finished the look.
After a gloriously tasty meal and yummy mini sweets, the couple and their guests danced the night away under the stars to a kitschy live band (named the Three Mustaches, does it get any better than that!).
