Wed in an intimate ceremony, college sweethearts Therese Salazar and David Orella made the most of a memorable weekend with close family and friends at a private estate in Greenfield. As one of many couples that decided to postpone their event due to the pandemic, Therese and David eventually settled on a smaller event and with a limited guest count, meaning they didn’t spare any details for their wedding festivities spanning over an entire weekend. From relaxation by the pool to cozy evenings near the firepit, the wide array of activities planned set the tone for a meaningful weekend among loved ones. The wedding itself featured an expansive multi-course meal made by a private chef, inspired by groom David’s time living in Italy. Floral design highlighted hues of pale pink, purple and blue alongside chic greenery. An on-site bartender serving up signature cocktails and wine kept the party going the entire night, and bold multicolored lights and glowsticks made the entire dance floor feel like a makeshift music festival, a tribute to Therese and David’s love of festivals and music. Effortlessly stunning, Therese turned heads in a gorgeous strapless gown with a full skirt and David’s grey suit looked simply dapper. Therese and David also paid homage to their love of all things coffee-related with unique favors for guests – adorable custom coffee mugs and bags of coffee beans were handed out. The first dance took place to the ever-romantic “Across the Room” by Leon Bridges and Odesza, a nod to the beginning of their relationship. Perhaps the most unique and meaningful detail was the bouquet wrap gifted to Therese by her mother. Elegantly hand-stitched with her new family tree, featuring David’s immediate family on one side and Therese’s on the other, this detail added a personal touch to Therese’s bouquet and can be passed down for generations to come.
