Kelly Curtius and Eric Testan wed in the Pacific Palisades overlooking ocean views at the Bel-Air Bay Club surrounded by coastal beauty. The couple began their relationship as coworkers, both employed as attorneys, but what began as a loving friendship morphed into a lasting romance after about a year. For their nuptials, the vision articulated a lasting elegance with a timeless edge surrounded by Southern California glamour. Planned by Natalie Sofer of Natalie Sofer Weddings and Events, the color palette featured a luscious combination of ivory, white, green and blush tones found across florals and décor. Florals by Peony & Plum showcased peonies, roses, ranunculus, snapdragons and hydrangeas for a heightened take on arrangements. Before the ceremony, a standout moment for Kelly and Eric was their first look, a heartwarming moment set against an idealistic backdrop that allowed the nearlyweds to enjoy a moment alone. The coastal ceremony boasted dazzling views and the ambiance of romance was solidified with a live cello and piano rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as Kelly walked down the aisle. On theme with the crashing waves, a blooming white floral altar was framed elegantly with draped fabric that softly moved with the ocean breeze. The reception brought an organic whimsy into a refined space with elegant décor and prominently featured white florals swathed with greens. Translucent vessels held opulent arrangements of florals that floated above tablescapes. Hints of ocean blues and accents of wood infused coastal details into the space with ease. A special touch added in place of a bouquet toss was an "Anniversary Dance," which brought all the married couples in the crowd onto the dancefloor to celebrate their relationships, leaving the bouquet to the couple who had been married the longest. The day brought harmony and lasting unity set against a picturesque vista. As bride Kelly put it, "Our relationship has been one of deep friendship, trust, and ease. We have fun doing everything together – whether it's watching Sunday football or traveling to Italy for our honeymoon."
