Sona and Armen tied the knot during a romantic and floral-filled wedding celebration in Los Angeles. The two were wed at St. Gregory Armenian Catholic Church during a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. Sona stunned in a gorgeous beaded form-fitting wedding gown and carried a pretty bouquet full of brightly colored blooms and greenery. The couple invited guests to an incredible reception at Madera Kitchen in Los Angeles, where luxurious flowers graced the room.

How did you meet?
"We met freshman year in high school but lost touch for the next three years because he switched schools. Then by chance, went to the same community college for our freshman year in college. I transferred to USC and he moved up north and went to UC Berkeley. We lost touch again until after he had graduated law school. Through all these years, we would run into each other at events of our mutual friends and remained friends until he took a chance and asked me to be his date to a friend's wedding...the rest is history."
Did you have a romantic proposal?
"He planned a trip to Hawaii (which I only assumed to be a gift for my birthday) where we would go on a pillbox hike. We approached a remote and romantic area at the top of the mountain, where there was a beautiful view of the entire island of Oahu, and as we were taking in the view he went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I'm almost certain it was some sort of miracle that another hiker, who had brought her own professional camera, happened to be there that very moment and captured some amazing photos of the whole thing. I get chills thinking about it to this day."
What was your inspiration for your wedding theme/colors?
"Armen and I wanted to have an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. Madera provided the perfect blend of an intimate setting with modern rustic elements that we connected with. The wine barrels, the lighting, and outdoor fireplace provided a romantic feel that worked well with our vision. The colors came to life thanks to my florist (Tic-Tock Couture Florals). Eddie Zaratsian truly is a visionary artist. He uses photos of the bride's gown and photos of the venue as inspiration to bring any girl's wedding dreams to life. He also has a way of reading your energy and translating it into floral design. Every job is truly unique. After meeting with him and allowing him to create his vision, all you will be thinking is 'that's so me!'"
