Lauren and Scott Catto tied the knot on November 9, 2020 after a year that couldn't have been crazier (they paid homage to it at the reception with a huge sign that read, "Twenty Twenty couldn't stop us"). After dealing with months of chaos, the duo was beyond ready for their elegant event at Bella Collina, a beautiful private golf course in San Clemente. The golf course was completely transformed for Lauren and Scott's nuptials, and the backdrops for their ceremony and reception were a serene dream complete with warm-toned floral pieces throughout the setup. Florals ranged from hues of burnt orange to pale pink and dainty long greenery added to the bohemian feel of the event. With understated and contemporary visions, simple clear, gold and silver vases adorned with a few beautiful stems of garden roses and other beautiful blooms with dried elements were placed along guest tables. The wedding itself was full of modern romantic influences with a subtle yet memorable bohemian flair. The combination of the modern, sleek aesthetic with whimsical bohemian hints made for unique decor and a gorgeous color palette of orange hues and neutrals. What made this wedding truly unique was the bold elements throughout, a standout was the chic clear signage - a modern dream. Tablescapes were styled simply featuring the same orange hues found in florals and gold tableware. Bride Lauren found her dream dress with lace mesh detailing along the bodice and a dramatic train, another subtle nod to the bohemian theme of the event. A gorgeous shawl was the perfect addition to her wedding-day getup, elegantly strewn over her shoulders for photos with her new husband. Scott opted for the ever-classic black tuxedo, and his terracotta tie complemented similar hues in bridesmaids' dresses. One of the main concerns for Lauren and Scott was the weather, as they saw predicted rain and cloudy skies for their big day. Though it ended up being cool and windy, there was no rain until the final moments as Scott and Lauren made their grand exit, and the perfectly-timed drizzle was a perfect sendoff for these newlyweds.
