Against the sweeping oceanside views of Lover’s Point in Monterey, in a private moment with the waves crashing, Cristian asked Marina to spend their life together. Given the romance of such a proposal, their wedding day at Villa Loriana was its natural successor, with the elegant old-world architecture providing a fairytale-like backdrop as the pair became husband and wife. Enhancing the natural beauty of the space, a simple color palette of ivory and gold was incorporated in the soft draping and floral installations of roses and baby’s breath. Cristian and Marina were a stunning view as they exchanged heartfelt vows—Marina’s strapless gown with lace that echoed the lush foliage of the grounds was the soft counterpart to Cristian’s sharp, classic tuxedo. A gilded mirror seating chart ushered the guests into the opulent reception space, where sparkling chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, casting a warm glow throughout the stone interior, adorned with an abundance of white roses and candles. The newlyweds shared a first dance to the deeply romantic “Unchained Melody,” accompanied by a cloud-like effect, producing a magical and unforgettable moment for the happy couple and guests alike. Following the merriment, Cristian’s passion for classic cars was sated with a vintage 1930s Ford Model A, providing a nostalgic getaway with the love of his life.
