Kristin and Adam met on Tinder, after which the couple became exclusive. In July 2016, Adam, a pilot, asked Kristin to take a flight with him to San Diego. Before turning inland, Adam flew to Laguna Niguel, where the couple went on their first date. At 2,000 feet above the exact spot where they first met, Adam pulled out the ring. Kristin remembers “trying to hug Adam while he was flying the plane.”

Adam wanted to incorporate his grandmother’s ring in the one he gave to Kristin. After consulting a jeweler, the GIA and printing five 3-D models of the ring he wanted, Adam created the perfect ring for his bride-to-be.

Adam had taken Kristin flying on one of their first dates and he also proposed while they were in the sky. With that in mind, he created an airplane design, which was incorporated in the menus, day of signage and the card that accompanied her wedding gift—a bound collection of their first Tinder messages and a heart locket with yellow, white and rose gold necklaces.

A pretty design of powder blues and bright pinks throughout the ceremony and reception reflected the beach venue. A lovely blue invitation suite gave guests a peek of the wedding, with blue bridesmaids’ gowns, decor and accents to follow.
