Inspired by the colorful Talavera tiles that brought life and painted the memories within her family estate, Keelin Woodell’s marriage to the love of her life, Nicholas Thompson, was playful and vibrant. Set against the warm rolling hills of La Lomita Ranch, a palette of peach, dusty rose, and bold orange painted the grand swaths of florals throughout the day. Leaning into the whimsical ambiance of the day, soft petal-like appliqué graced the bride’s off-the-shoulder gown.
At the heart of the sun-soaked ceremony was a show-stopping circular altar installation with the bold florals du jour crawling up the sides to frame Keelin and Nicholas as they exchanged “I do’s.” Each guest received their own Talavera tile, the colorfully patterned pieces doubling as a memorable escort card. A vibrant turquoise bar, custom made and designed by the groom popped against the western-influenced reception, the hue reminiscent of the Spanish ceramics. Changing into a playful mini-dress designed by her dear friend, Angel Sanchez, Keelin rang in her newlywed status in style, enjoying flaming donuts and all night dancing with Nicholas right by her side.
